Day to day, a hearing aid rechargeable battery lasts about 34 hours. Bluetooth usage will drain the battery more quickly. Year to year, the rechargeable battery is not replaced. It stays within the hearing aid for the life of the device. The rechargeable battery is meant to last as long as the hearing aid, about 5 years.
